WB17 has a number of restoration projects in the works from our various members. Many, but not all, are Warbirds.
Projects range in size and complexity from a Taylorcraft L-2 Liaison to mid-size Transport and Training aircraft like the Navy RC-45J Reconnaissance Twin Beech up to a North American B-25 Light Bomber being restored
by Steve Detch for a client.
Please visit often to keep up with the progress of the various projects. We will be adding pictures and narration, as provided by the owners and participants, to the various projects as they progress.

The Air Acres Museum, a close affiliation of WB17, has a number of projects in and of themselves. These include 3 Piper J-5’s, one of which is the epitome of the “Finding a Treasure in the Barn”
story, a North American L-17 Navion, a Boeing PT-17 Stearman and a Luscombe 8E as well as a unique combination of airplanes to form a single aircraft tentatively dubbed a “Super J-35, CuMaulaCraftMan.”
