ROTC Follows Through

Just One of Many Success Stories
Dear Liz,
Since starting our joint venture with the EAA / Young Eagles program, we have had five cadets become so energized  by flying that they have convinced their parents to financially support their  getting a private pilot license.

Lee Stewart
David West - soloed
Brandon Reardon - soloed
Dean Grimes - soloed

These young  men are an obvious indication of the potential payoff for the Young Eagles program. I do not believe any of these kids would have become so excited had  they not had the initial opportunity to go up with one of your pilots and actually fly the airplane.

I should mention that we also have one former cadet (Tysen Pina) at the US Air Force Academy and another (Adam Bull) going this year, plus three others on AF scholarships (Becky Garland, Tim McCord, and Mark Duncan). All of these kids got their first flight with your Young Eagles and every one of them is targeted for an AF pilot training slot. I would like to thank you and everyone in your organization for all that you have done and continue to do to motivate these young people toward aviation.

It obviously works.
